The students and student veterans at Colorado State University want to reinforce the fact that no matter what your struggle in life is, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Operation Bear Hug is going to be a systematic approach to change the way suicide prevention and awareness is discussed and taught in the United States. This is going to be accomplished by bringing not only the entire University, but the entire community together for an all day event. Operation Bear Hug is a campaign to get students involved in suicide prevention by bringing awareness through education. With the help, involvement, and participation of other student organizations, this event has the potential to be recreated by other universities across the nation.
