Send Silence Packing is a national touring exhibit to raise awareness about suicide with a display of 1,100 backpacks each representing a college student who has died by suicide. This powerful exhibit is being brought to campus by CSU's Active Minds Chapter and is sponsored by ASCSU and the CSU Health Network. The display of backpacks, donated by family members to share the story of their loved ones, will be on the Eddy-cation lawn between the Eddy and Education Buildings. There will be trained student volunteers as well as CSU Health Network staff on hand to engage with students and provide support and resources. Active Minds has student chapters across the country who focus on raising awareness related to student mental health, anti-stigma and suicide prevention.
